Bianco su Bianco (Rocciamelone) è un'installazione video con 10 schermi posizionati a terra e 10 cuffie con suono binaurale.
L'installazione testimonia una spedizione fatta in montagna (Rocciamelone 3650m) il 14/04/2017 dall'artista e dalla sua socia Lucia Bricco. Durante questa salita Lucia ha scattato 10 polaroid e con un dispositivo speciale ha catturato il momento della rivelazione dell'immagine (dal bianco, al pallido, al reale).
Il suono è, a differenza delle immagini che appaiono quasi astratte, molto reale. È come immergersi nell'esperienza, il suono binaurale permette di vedere lo spazio non con gli occhi ma con le orecchie.
Quanto più lo spettatore si avvicina allo schermo, tanto più entra in intimità con l'artista e se stesso, ma è meno consapevole dello spazio reale che lo circonda.
Bianco su Bianco (Rocciamelone) is a video installation with 10 screens positioned on the ground and 10 headphones with binaural sound.
The installation testifies to an expedition made in the mountains (Rocciamelone 3650m) on 14/04/2017 by the artist and his partner Lucia Bricco. During this climb Lucia shot 10 polaroids and with a special device she captured the moment of the revelation of the image (from white, to pale, to real).
The sound is, unlike the images that appear almost abstract, very real. It is like immersing yourself in the experience, the binaural sound allows you to see the space not with the eyes but with the ears.
The closer the viewer gets to the screen, the more he gets intimate with the artist and himself, but he is less aware of the real space that surrounds him.
